Prof Temple presented a CET lecture on the dangers of blue light and met with Prof Glen Jeffery who is an expert on red light and the protective role it plays in retina by increasing mitochondrial activity. Prof Jeffery is keen to use the MP-eye in his research.

Shelby joined Maui Jim at Old Trafford with the MP-eye to speak to some former players, measure Maui Jim guests and of course enjoy watching his first premiere league match…best of all Manchester United won!

Prof Temple delivered a CET lecture on Preventative Eye Care at a National Eye Health Week event sponsored by Théa.

MP-eye was on the Théa stand at Optometry Tomorrow, and because it is so easy to use optometrists were able to test one another after just watching someone else be tested.

Denise and Shelby took the MP-eye to MIDO and were on stand with Younger Optics.

Shelby invited Michelle Beach, Sport Vision Expert and long time owner of an MP-eye to join him at the Manchester United training grounds to introduce the medical team to the MP-eye and explain how having good macular pigment levels can improve visual performance.

Maui Jim placed the MP-eye in several Alberto Oculista practices, over a period of six months, and during that time they saw an increase of sunglasses sales that was more than double previous sales. Shelby met up with the Maui Jim team in Lisbon during their early training period to get them off the ground.
